East Texas Honey Products
At J&J Honey, our raw honey is as diverse as the East Texas landscape. From delicate golden hues to rich amber, deep reds, and dark, robust varieties, each jar tells a story of the flowers our bees visited. Whether you prefer single-source honeys or multi-floral blends, we’ve got a flavor for every palate.
Explore Our Honey Varieties
- Golden Honey: Light and delicate, this honey comes from early-season blooms, perfect for tea or drizzling over fresh fruit.
- Amber Honey: A classic choice with a warm, rich flavor that complements baked goods and savory dishes.
- Red Honey: Unique and bold, this honey offers a nuanced taste that shines in marinades and glazes.
- Dark Honey: Deep and robust, ideal for pairing with strong cheeses or stirring into coffee
Single-Source Honeys
- Yaupon Honey: A golden, lightly floral honey harvested from the blooms of the native yaupon plant. Its subtle sweetness makes it perfect for delicate pairings.
- Tallow Honey: A smooth, slightly tangy honey sourced from tallow trees, offering a rich flavor that stands out in any recipe
Multi-Sourced Wildflower Varieties
Our wildflower honeys are a celebration of East Texas’s vibrant ecosystem. Each jar is a unique blend of nectars from various blooms, offering a complex and evolving flavor profile with every season.
What’s a REKO Ring?
A REKO Ring is a simple, modern way to shop directly from local farmers and makers – like us at J&J Honey! The REKO model originated in Finland a few years ago and stands for “Fair Consumption.” The REKO model is built on local community, transparency, and trust.
Here’s how it works:
- You join a local Facebook group (like the ones in Tyler, Chandler/Brownsboro, or Lindale). It’s free to join!
- Producers post what they have available for the week.
- You comment to order, pre-pay, and pick up your items at a set time location.
No shipping, no middlemen, no surprises – just fresh, high-quality products, straight from the source.
It’s the easiest way to support local families and enjoy seasonal goods straight from your area.
Join a REKO Ring today and taste the difference of shopping local!
